Birdville Elementary School Standardized Dress Code

Boys

• Collared shirts (solid colors:  any shade of red, green, or blue; no stripes or print)
• Tan/Khaki or Navy blue or Black pants or shorts
• Blue/Black Jeans or Blue/Black Jean shorts (no other colors)
• Belts preferred
• Closed-toe shoe with non-slip soles; tennis shoes preferred (no flip-flops, sandals, or cleats allowed)

Girls

• Collared shirts (solid colors: any shade of red, green, or blue; no stripes or print)
• Tan/Khaki or Navy blue or Black pants, skirts (shorts need to be worn underneath), or shorts (no higher than fingertip length even if worn with leggings)
• Blue/Black Jeans or Blue/Black Jean shorts or Blue/Black Jean Capris or Blue/Black Jean Skirt (no other colors/no higher than fingertip length even if worn with leggings)
• Polo style dresses with a collar
• No jeggings (leggings made out of denim) are allowed (unless worn under a skirt or with shorts of appropriate length)
• Closed-toe shoe with non-slip sole (heels no higher than 1 inch); tennis shoes preferred (no flip-flops, sandals, or cleats allowed)

*** Students will not be allowed to wear hoodies or sweaters over their collared shirts.

*EVERY Friday will be a “free day”.  Students may wear spirit shirts or dress in any manner that stays within the  boundaries of BISD dress code.

*The first Monday of every month will be college spirit day.  Students may wear a college shirt with jeans, pants, shorts or a skirt.
